Editorial Director: Scotland

As The Scotsman enters a new chapter in its 203-year history, we are looking for an inspirational, visionary leader to shape the digital future of the most prestigious national title in the country.

The Editorial Director for Scotland will head up a new portfolio of products that includes The Scotsman, Edinburgh Evening News, Scotland on Sunday and a series of weekly titles.

This new role will be filled only by someone who understands how to focus the editorial team on delivering a growing, frequent and paying digital audience, while maintaining the print performance of our titles.

You will know how to use audience data and relevant tools to understand the needs and requirements of our readers.

The contemporary role of an Editor today means you will be a brand ambassador for the portfolio, helping to shape and influence political debate, identify commercial opportunities with the most important business leaders and also engage with the different communities across the country.
