Established in 1984, Mondiale Media produces B2B magazines, events and websites for the sectors of design, hospitality, technology and entertainment. Our magazines are beautifully presented and distributed internationally; our events are creatively curated to bring together the people who make their industries tick; and our online activities provide news, information and marketing services for companies targeting loyal audiences of readers and subscribers.
Our newly refurbished offices are located in Strawberry Studios, Stockport – where bands including The Smiths, The Stone Roses and Joy Division started their careers – and have an informal, friendly atmosphere.
Sleeper Media is looking to strengthen its editorial team to support its next phase of growth.
As the leading B2B media brand for hotel design, our portfolio includes market-leading magazines Sleeper, Supper and Starboard, as well as events such as AHEAD (Awards for Hospitality Experience and Design) and Sleepover, a series of networking events for hotel innovators.
There are a number of positions available ranging from entry-level to experienced, working across both print and digital platforms.
The successful candidates will be a graduate of a relevant journalism programme, or have a proven track record in print publishing. They will be hardworking, self-motivated, highly organised and willing to work flexibly to maintain the high standards we have established over thirty years in trade publishing. A professional interest in hospitality and design will also stand you in good stead.
The roles involve planning and writing editorial content, laying out pages in collaboration with our in-house production team and helping build our online and social media presence, as well as representing the brand at industry conferences and exhibitions worldwide. A close working relationship with the advertising team to develop client partnerships and help drive the publications commercially will be an important part of the role.
