Our client is looking for a highly effective and experienced producer to lead and manage a team responsible for all news output. At their state-of-the-art London broadcast centre, you will be driving international growth across their news and current affairs channel.
This is a key role for a senior executive who will establish a workflow for a dynamic production team. You will display creativity and hold responsibility for the overall vision, content, editorial planning process and day to day operations.
The role will be under a “start-up” environment, requiring enterprising ideas and leadership. Collaboration with assignment editors, operations, business news team, among others will be part of your day-to-day responsibilities.
The client is looking for a highly experienced, senior production executive that is adaptable and excels under a high-pressure environment. With an extensive background in team management, they will be able to guide the team to bring fresh ideas and approaches in creating broadcasts with originality to a diverse global audience.
The right candidate will be an expert in current events, geopolitics, international relations, and history. In addition, they will have a willingness to embrace the digital world, and to cooperate with the digital team to provide content on the digital platforms.
