You’ll be working for NS Media Group, the publisher of the New Statesman magazine and website as well as a range of other B2B and B2C publications, and have a focus on business technology – from cybersecurity to govtech, via public policy and more.

It's an exciting time to join the company, as we're transitioning from a traditional publishing group to one that combines journalism, data and technology.

The business already employs 250 people and we are looking to bring in an extremely fast-growing team of world class journalists and entrepreneurially-minded people.

We are looking for people who have a keen interest in creating – as Melvyn Bragg wrote of discovering the New Statesman in his school library – "a window on the great world", and have the skills to craft and tell stories that shape that world.

This is a compelling role for someone with some B2B or financial journalism experience, or a recent graduate with useful work experience who is looking to break into the sector.

Your responsibilities will include identifying news stories and providing engaging and accurate analysis across the sector. We want people who can build lasting relationships with key players, are hungry for a scoop, and have a demonstrable interest in business, politics and technology. If you know a thing or two about data journalism, all the better.

We’re open to thinking outside of the box: tell us why we should hire you!
