We’re need someone who can get off to a running start – a strong writing portfolio is essential (we’ll also ask you to complete an assignment as part of the application process).
We'd also like you to be a visual thinker as well as a wordsmith – able to find photographs, and conceive and communicate ideas for illustrations and infographics that will help grab attention and aid understanding.
And you will need to be adaptable and inquisitive, capable of turning your skills and experience to new subjects spanning our business. Your role will include:
Flushing out strong project-based stories and writing them for our website and other marketing channels
Working with Mott MacDonald’s practice leaders and technical and regional directors to…
… write punchy point-of-view articles for the website and external publications, in response to industry and general news agendas
… develop the narratives for client-facing events, including the production of reports and post-event summaries
… produce well-targeted brochures and flyers articulating our value proposition to current and prospective clients
Producing lively new stories about people, initiatives and projects for the Group’s staff newsletter
Contributing to social media campaigns
Writing taut, eye-catching copy for ads and exhibition displays
Assisting production of ‘high-end’ award submissions
Editing and subbing
You’ll be part of Mott MacDonald’s in-house editorial team, working closely with the media, design and business support teams. Based in south London, we serve the whole of the global Group.
