Come and join Archant’s award-winning investigations unit and take the next step in your career. We’re looking for a brilliant journalist, who is passionate about investigative, local journalism, for our titles in London and Hertfordshire.
As investigations correspondent you will be given the time and freedom to dig out the best stories on our diverse patches. Our reporters have won the Paul Foot Award, Regional Press Awards and been highly commended at the British Journalism Awards.
We're looking for someone with the tenacity and creativity to generate hard-hitting, stories which will have an impact on our area and spark change.
You must be qualified to senior NQJ level, have 100 wpm shorthand, at least two years’ journalism experience and a good understanding of media law and the Ipso code of practice.
You will work from our newsrooms in Stevenage and Barking you will need to be able to drive. The titles you will be working with are Romford Recorder, Ham & High, Herts Comet and Herts Advertiser.
SALARY & BENEFITS
- Salary up to £26,000
