Citywire provides no-nonsense, impartial financial and business news, data and research for professional investors and advisers around the world. We publish our own news, analysis and unique fund manager performance information that helps our readers make the best decisions about where to place their clients’ money. And we do it all with a great deal of style. We create beautiful magazines and indispensable websites and we hold great events all around the world from Bangkok to Montevideo and many places in between.
We started out in 1999 and there are now around 220 of us – most of us in Vauxhall, London where we’re surrounded by nice pubs and green spaces and served by superb transport links. The rest of us are in fast- growing offices in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Milan and Munich. No matter which office you are in it’s a fun place to work. The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to build your future in the fast-growing field of data journalism at a leading financial publisher. Your role will include analysing fund manager and market performance using our proprietary data, which covers over 15,000 fund managers across more than 40 countries.
Working for our two flagship UK professional titles –Wealth Manager and New Model Adviser- you will have the freedom to be creative in delivering news-led analysis, spotting trends and producing in-depth content for both our magazines and websites.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpretation of fund manager performance data to provide investment insight
Delivering engaging investment content across the magazines and websites
Interviewing fund managers and professional investors
Attending conferences and industry events

What you’ll need:

Ideally at least 12 months’ experience of data journalism
An understanding of financial markets and investment fundamentals
A flair for clear and concise writing
Creativity in how you present research findings
Strong attention to detail and be meticulous in reviewing large data sets
Buckets of drive and enthusiasm
A good team-player with strong communication skills

What we offer you:
