Job Title: Four journalist roles

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (DoE)

Location: London (Piccadilly Circus), United Kingdom

Type Of Employment: Full-time

Function: Editorial

Job Description:

Risk.net is the world’s leading publication in its field. We cover derivatives markets, risk management and regulation for a diverse, global audience of banks, buy-side firms, regulators, and other participants in risk transfer markets.

This is a demanding audience, and we pride ourselves on producing accurate, cogent, entertaining articles on technical topics. Primarily, this is funded by subscription revenues, which have grown rapidly as our markets have become more complex.

We are now looking for four staff writers to dig up exclusive news stories as well as write in-depth features. Based in London, where we have 18 full-time journalists and editors, you will need to develop and maintain relationships with traders and risk managers in banks and on the buy side; some travel will be required.

Qualifications:

We’re looking for candidates with some experience of writing about markets and finance, but will also consider journalists who have worked in other relatively technical fields – accounting, law or technology, for example.

A genuine enthusiasm for complex topics and a track record in original reporting is required.

What's on offer:

Risk.net has a collegiate approach; journalists and editors collaborate across our five editorial desks and three offices. Standards are high, but so is management support.

In addition to a competitive salary we offer the following benefits:

  • 25 days Annual Leave (rising up to 30 days)

  • Group personal pension plan

  • Life assurance

  • Interest free season ticket loan

  • Childcare vouchers

  • Private medical insurance

  • Income protection

  • Employee assistance programme

  • Employee discount scheme

  • Onsite monthly chair massage

  • Eye-care vouchers

  • Vodafone employee advantage scheme

  • Discounted gym membership

  • Flexible working

And many more!

Infopro Digital also runs The Foundation which supports a number of charities. Staff can volunteer to contribute their skills and expertise to make a meaningful difference to the lives of others.
