Environmental Finance - the award-winning online news and feature service and quarterly print magazine - is looking for an outstanding journalist.

The transition to a net zero-carbon economy is underway. But what are the risks and opportunities created by this transition, and how should investors respond?

Environmental Finance covers decarbonisation and other environmental issues that are material for investors. Topics we cover include the booming green, social and sustainability bond market, low-carbon indexes, and how investors are integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) into their decision making. The role of regulation is an increasingly important part of our coverage.

This is one of the most exciting and rapidly evolving subject areas in financial journalism. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a journalist with an enquiring mind to find exclusive stories and write original analysis pieces.

We need a versatile all-rounder capable of helping us keep our website updated with news and features pieces. An understanding of finance would be beneficial, but not essential. However, a willingness to work hard and learn fast is a must, as is an interest in financial markets and sustainability issues. Contact building and attending events is an important part of the role.

Normally based in Borough Market, London. Currently working from home, but this could change soon.

Salary competitive, according to qualifications and experience. Please indicate your expectation.
