PaRR, an Acuris company and a global news service used by law firms, companies and government agencies to track competition law and policy developments, is looking for a Brussels-based legal affairs writer.
We are looking for a driven, creative individual who is capable of working independently and as part of a global team. The ideal candidate will have experience writing about legal issues and courts at a European and national level. The successful candidate will provide swift and crisp summaries of court decisions and news developments from across Europe. Language skills, especially Spanish and French, and a background in law/EU affairs are highly advantageous. The job requires close cooperation with London staff and with colleagues across the globe, including Washington, Mumbai and Shanghai.
Analyse and summarize court judgments from the European Court of Justice, the European General Court and national courts.
Attend court hearings and write timely reports on the proceedings.
Work with our analyst team to research and write data-driven news analysis.
Track court registries, maintain a database and monitor news developments.
Report on press conferences and policy events.
Occasional international travel is required. Salary is competitive.
