TP Week, an online only subscription product focused on global transfer pricing and sister title to International Tax Review, is looking for a new managing editor. Responsibilities include managing one reporter, writing articles, subbing articles both internal and commissioned, judging awards submissions and directory rankings, hosting awards and conferences, meeting clients, and developing the product with the publisher. International travel as required to conferences, government meetings and client meetings.

The role would suit an experienced editor looking to make the step up to having overall editorial responsibility for an online only subscription led title, while also working with marketing and subscriptions sales people to make sure the product is delivering the correct blend of coverage, and with the publisher to identify new revenue opportunities. As managing editor you will be the face of the brand and so hosting the long running TP Forum, the new European TP Forum as well as awards in the US, Europe and Asia are key parts of the role.


Key skills and requirements:

  • Experienced editor, minimum 3 years, preferably from a B2B background

  • Client facing with excellent presentation skills

  • An interest in international corporate tax desirable

  • Highly motivated can-do attitude and strong team working skills

  • Willing and able to build networks of senior tax directors

  • Interest and ability to nurture junior journalists

  • Willingness to work with the advertising and marketing team on bespoke client research projects

  • Willingness to travel internationally as and when the role demands.
