Warners Group Publications plc is a rapidly growing multi-million pound Publisher and Publishing Services Company offering real opportunities to individuals with the right attitude, skills and ambition. Due to our continued success and expansion we need to fill the following position:

MANAGING EDITOR – BRM, RMweb.co.uk, World-of-Railways.co.uk

We are recruiting for a true multimedia managing editor, someone capable of owning the creation of content that spans across print and digital products with a combined reach of over 200,000 railway modelling enthusiasts.

The role will encompass the editorship of BRM (British Railway Modelling) magazine (a title that is produced in both print and digital formats) plus managing content creation on World-of-Railways.co.uk and the integration with the UK’s biggest railway modelling forum, www.RMweb.co.uk.

The right candidate will be expected to execute a combined print/digital publishing strategy to grow magazine sales, website visitor numbers and overall group revenue. You will need to understand COPE (create once, publish everywhere) in relation to multi-platform content.

The right candidate will have experience of publishing at deputy editor or editor level. A knowledge of all things digital and the drive to learn about new digital opportunities are essential qualities for this role.

You will be based in the offices of Warners Group Publications in Bourne, Lincolnshire, where we produce a wide variety of magazines, websites, apps and events.

Working for a family-run business has many benefits and will provide you with an attractive salary, a company pension and life assurance scheme, 26 days holiday per year, ongoing training and development, a 35-hour week, free car parking and a real career path.
