The award-winning Western Telegraph is looking for a multi-media senior reporter/reporter to join its small, dedicated team in West Wales.

While we are ideally looking for an experienced senior reporter, we’re open to receiving applications from outstanding reporters/trainee reporters seeking somewhere to shine.

We are looking for a talented journalist with the desire to play a central role in our newsroom following an internal promotion.

We want someone who can hunt down great off-diary stories, write compelling copy, run a live blog and take pictures, not to mention report on crime, politics, rural affairs, coffee mornings and everything else.

He or she will need to work with a 'web first' mindset, including writing web-ready stories and headlines, uploading content and producing engaging social media posts as well helping to write and produce our weekly print edition.

The successful candidate will work across print and online.

The job is based in Haverfordwest in the heart of the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

An ability to speak Welsh would be a bonus, but is not essential for the role or for living in Pembrokeshire.

A driving licence is essential.
