Editorial interns

Are you looking to get onto the first rung of the ladder in journalism? Are you interested in technology?

Then Energy Storage Publishing ltd, based on the south coast near Worthing may be the opportunity you’re looking for. Batteries and Energy storage are some of the hottest tech topics around today and we pioneered coverage of the field, nearly 20 years ago which is why we have these opportunities now.

We produce a quarterly magazine and two weekly newsletters on the battery industry and we cover the market from electric cars to the technologies that power your smart phone and a lot more besides.

You’ll work with an experienced Editor and learn to develop stories from scratch to be used  across our publications.

You’ll need to show some evidence of interest in print journalism, like writing for a school magazine or university newspaper. And you must have some basic science qualifications— like a GCSE in combined science, otherwise you’ll get very lost!

The sky’s the limit here and that means overseas travel to international meetings— if you can do the work to find stories and  write them up accurately.

How to apply:

To proceed with your application please write in the first instance to Gerry Woolf, Publisher at Gerry@bestmag.co.uk - please include a CV and a covering letter

We’re looking to make appointments in September, so speed is of the essence.
