Leading renewable energy publisher reNEWS is seeking a motivated, multi-skilled news journalist for the position of Scotland correspondent.

We are looking for a proven journalist who understands hard news reporting and has demonstrable experience of delivering off-diary/exclusive stories. The ideal candidate will have several years under his/her belt working in the news industry, perhaps as a business journalist or at a high level in trade/industry media.

The successful candidate will track projects and development, construction, policy, finance and other relevant subjects in the Scottish renewables sector.

Knowledge of renewables and/or energy is preferred, but not essential.

The position will be home-office based. The successful candidate will join a team of journalists based in offices around the world covering a dynamic and growing industry.
