Production journalist

Maternity cover 12 months initially

Newsquest Media Group is committed to bringing a voice to your region by investing in the best editors the industry has to offer.  As part of our ongoing commitment to local news, we are on the lookout for a top-class production journalist to help provide our unrivalled local printed and online coverage across Clyde and Forth.  

Do you have a keen eye for the written word, a passion for print and a flair for page layout and design? Do you fancy working with one of Newsquest's top-performing daily titles? We have an opportunity for someone who ticks all these boxes for an initial 12-month contract.

You should preferably have experience in sub-editing, fact-checking and rewriting complex copy, as well as a flair for designing an eye-catching page.

Experience in Adobe InDesign would be advantageous.

This job is open to journalists of all levels of experience, including graduates looking to get started in the industry. It will be primarily working from home, although there may be a requirement for some time to be office-based.
