Are you an excellent journalist with a drive to get deep under the skin of the charity sector? Passionate about getting the story and becoming a leading expert in your field? Then this might be the job for you.

Fundraising Magazine is seeking a multi-talented reporter to help develop its market-leading position by contributing high-quality content to the printed magazine and its associated website, as well as its live events programmes.

You will be responsible for building a network of high-level fundraising contacts, reporting on seminars and conferences, and covering breaking news stories. You will take ownership of various sections of the magazine – seeing their development through from initial editorial brief to final layout.

You will also write regular feature articles and online news stories, copy-edit externally-submitted articles, conduct interviews with sector leaders and support Fundraising's survey projects by collating, refining and analysing data in Microsoft Excel.

Some understanding of the world of fundraising and charity is an advantage, but not essential. You must be well organised, highly literate, have a good eye for a story, and understand the importance of speed and accuracy. Your attention to detail will be second-to-none.

Salary is commensurate with experience. A full job description is available on request. At interview you will be asked to complete a writing test.
