Mobile News, the leading trade fortnightly 'bible' and online resource for the mobile telecoms channel requires a tenacious and confident reporter starting out on a career in business journalism to join its team at our office near Angel Tube near major transport links at Kings Cross and Euston

Mobile News has built up an enviable reputation for producing accurate and exclusive coverage of the exciting mobile telecoms industry and running the UK mobile channel's biggest awards event The Mobile News Awards held each March at The Hilton on Park Lane

As well as print and you will be involved in keeping our online resource (mobilenewscwp.co.uk) up to date.

The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm for digging our stories be confident dealing with the UK's leading mobile telecoms networks, distributors and vendors.

You will be motivated by a desire to dig out news exclusives, craft analytical features and produce hard-hitting interviews for very senior business leaders.

Currently our team is working on stories such as Huawei's cyber-security problems with Governments, the impending arrival for the next revolution in mobile comms - 5G - and preparing to cover Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the world's biggest mobile comms expo.

A current passport is also essential as our reporters regularly travel to Europe and as far as China, USA and Korea to cover launches and conferences.
