The Register, one of the largest enterprise tech news websites in the industry, has a vacancy on the European editorial team for an ambitious journalist.
The ideal candidate will already have a wide-ranging knowledge of tech built up over several years of reporting, be able to work with contacts to unearth interesting or exclusive stories, and have a keen eye to analyse trends in one of the fastest-moving business sectors. They will be able to file technical, accurate copy in a timely fashion.
We are on the lookout for a generalist, someone who has an opinion on what is holding back AI PCs, the nightmares that are keeping security professionals awake, or the pressures facing sysadmins and the higher ups in the management chain.
Our next reporter will have a strong understanding of technical details, but also a sense of fun. Someone that can draft an article which draws in our demanding and highly vocal community of readers, which number in the tens of millions. They may also have a personal interest in science and engineering, in addition to geeking out on tech.
