William Reed is actively recruiting for a Senior Editor on its flagship digital food industry title FoodNavigator.com. The successful candidate will manage a tight-knit and ambitious editorial team, working in conjunction with their editorial counterparts in the US (FoodNavigator-USA.com) and Singapore (FoodNavigator-Asia.com). Catering for a highly engaged food industry audience of over 120,000 readers, this is an excellent opportunity for a creative Editor with commercial awareness to take FoodNavigator to the next level.

FoodNavigator provides a 360 degree view of the food and beverage market. It covers everything from investment, incubation and innovation through to ingredients, food science, consumer trends, new technology and more.

This is a highly strategic role and we’re seeking a digitally savvy Editor who can drive the editorial development of FoodNavigator forward.

The Senior Editor will take on a range of different responsibilities including:

  • Producing top quality multimedia content on a daily basis

  • Collaborating internally with US and Singapore counterparts on future content initiatives

  • Chairing FoodNavigator events, both digital and F2F

  • Networking and active engagement at the heart of the food industry and its various communities

Essential skills:

  • Demonstrable experience within journalism, working within the B2B food industry

  • Deep knowledge of the European food industry

  • Digital first perspective

  • Strong networking skills

  • Solid knowledge of social media channels

  • Strong negotiator
