Senior Editor/News Editor
As a senior/news editor you will work in a tight-knit editorial team, working on a range of risk-transfer titles including Intelligent Insurer, Bermuda Reinsurance Magazine and Captive International as well as producing conference newsletters globally as part of a team.
Your main responsibilities will relate to our flagship title Intelligent Insurer and specifically its website and the daily news services we produce. You will write and edit a mixture of hard news, analytical news reports and in-depth features for this title while working with and developing a team of reporters and researchers.
To flourish in this role, you will need to be an excellent editor and writer, ideally with experience writing about insurance and other forms of risk transfer, but certainly with demonstrable expertise in writing and editing in the B2B field. You will need to understand complex subject matter quickly and be confident interviewing and dealing with senior executives both on the phone and in person.
The role would suit someone with a minimum of four years’ experience in B2B journalism and editing, but we would also consider candidates with a strong track record in other areas of publishing.
