Petrospot Limited is a market leader in providing intelligence on the global maritime energy industry through highly respected publications, conferences and training courses.

We are seeking to recruit a skilled and self-motivated senior journalist to work on our online news service covering the global marine fuels industry. Reporting to the Publishing Director, the successful candidate should have excellent reporting and subbing skills and will have responsibility for researching and delivering original news stories and interviews, as well as in-depth articles for the website.

The senior journalist would also be expected to contribute some editorial content for our flagship bi-monthly magazine, Bunkerspot.

The role will also require representing the company at its own conferences as well as other industry events, both in the UK and overseas. Knowledge of the maritime sector would be useful, as would some proficiency in languages.

Shipping transports over 90% of the world’s goods and is at a key point in its development as it seeks to find solutions to environmental and regulatory challenges.
