Looking to lift your career in the New Year? Then, work with us as a senior reporter or reporter covering the fast-moving investments markets of corporate jets, helicopters and superyachts.

Specialist Insight’s flagship brands - Corporate Jet Investor, Helicopter Investor, Revolution.Aero and Superyacht Investor - provide independent business and technical news, views and analysis covering these dynamic global markets.

Whether it is market leaders' hot financial results (and what is driving them), the latest technological innovation or recent moves to towards sustainability, if it matters to industry investors and professionals, we have it covered.

Our award-winning brands serve global communities of readers. Multimedia is important to us. We stage monthly Town Hall online meetings and annual conferences worldwide, which attract hundreds of C-suite executives from the aviation and marine industries.

We also publish the print title Corporate Jet Investor Quarterly, which charts the changing face of business aviation from the latest jets to sustainable aviation fuel and environmentally-friendly design innovation.

Who we are looking for

This is a fabulous opportunity to carve out a career in business journalism dedicated to investment in dynamic sectors experiencing rapid change. A curious and committed journalist will uncover a wealth of exclusive stories, as the industries we serve grow and adapt to the demands of 21st Century High Net Worth Individuals and the professionals who advise them.

Knowledge of aircraft and yacht markets (which we can help you develop) is less important than the ability to demonstrate old school journalism skills - or the ability to acquire them rapidly. We want the successful candidate to quickly build trusting relationships with industry leaders, to research and write powerful original news and analysis articles that provide actionable information for readers. We want you to quickly become a powerhouse of editorial and event ideas for our brands.

Experience of business journalism is preferred but not required. More important than experience is insatiable curiosity and a sense of the excitement (and satisfaction) you will feel in breaking big stories for our highly discerning audiences.

The successful candidate will also have an appetite for multimedia content. We want to develop your confidence and presentation skills to host webinars and face-to-face forums on a range of aviation and yacht topics.

You will be adaptable and able to absorb and analyse information quickly. You will relish serving our many audience contact points via our online, social media, face-to-face and print platforms.

The role is based in Reigate, Surrey, a convenient train ride from central London. There will be some home working and travel both within the UK and abroad.

Specialist Insight has a small but highly dedicated and experienced team. We will support you every step of the way in building your career in business journalism. (See more details about the role below).

To apply, please send a covering letter, explaining why this job is made for you, plus your CV to Mike Stones at mike@corporatejetinvestor.com. Or telephone 07964 706627 to discuss in confidence.
