The Dorset Echo is looking for a multi-media reporter to join its talented team in Weymouth.

We are looking for a talented journalist with the desire to take their career to the next level.

We want someone who can hunt down great off-diary stories, write compelling copy, run a live blog, take a picture and turn their hand to video.

He or she will need to work with a 'web first' mindset, including writing compelling 'web' style headlines and uploading content to the required deadlines and understand and be active on social media.

The successful candidate will work across our print and online titles.

The job is based on the Jurassic Coast in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.

A driving licence is essential.

We are accepting application from both seniors and trainees with the relevant NCTJ qualifications.

The closing date is February 7.
