The Midland News Association is looking for senior journalists to join its team writing for the Express & Star, Shropshire Star and its websites and apps.
We want ambitious, dedicated and enthusiastic journalists, with a proven track record of digging out the best off-diary news stories, features and analysis.
As multimedia journalists, you must be comfortable producing content for all of our print and digital platforms - from in-depth news features to breaking news articles and engaging live blogs.
You will need to come up with ideas and deliver compelling stories on a consistent basis.
In particular, we are looking to fill the following specialist roles within the newsroom:
- Courts and crime correspondent
- Health correspondent
To apply, you must be NCTJ-trained and able to deliver accurate, entertaining copy to meet strict deadlines. A full, clean driving licence is also required.
