Incisive Media is an AOP 'Digital Publisher of the Year' serving a wide range of financial, business technology and professional services markets globally. An entrepreneurial and creative, digital-facing organisation on the cutting edge of media.
Our Enterprise Technology Group is looking for an experienced journalist who can break news; write probing analysis and also pen more in-depth features, case studies and interviews. You will also be able to manage commercial campaigns, and be the main editorial point of contact for sponsored editorial and awards ceremonies.
The role will involve presenting at both live and recorded events, presenting research keynotes and moderating panels at Computing's leading conference programme, chairing our CIO dining clubs at some of London's top restaurants, and hosting live webinars in our professional studios.
The Enterprise Technology Group encompasses Computing, V3 and The Inquirer, serving the breadth of IT professionals based in the UK and overseas. These are fully multi-channel brands, serving content via web, app, print and live and recorded events.
This is an opportunity to take on a central role within a successful group of growing publications, combining commercial understanding and relationship building, editorial excellence and presentation skills.
We are looking for a candidate who will develop productive contacts and generate off-diary and exclusive copy for our audiences.
You responsibilities include:
Writing for an audience of IT professionals as well as presenting at online seminars and face to face events. Training is available for these activities.
Managing commercial campaigns. Tracking requirements and ensuring the group produces the right level of content for each campaign at the right time, and liaising with both internal and client teams to report on progress and take feedback.
Being the main point of contact on the group's awards programme, managing the judging teams and helping to promote the awards and ensure a high level of entries is achieved for each one.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Technology journalism experience is required (preferably with an existing contact list of top level IT executives).
A confident and authoritative presenter (preferably with both live and studio experience).
