Working within a busy, exciting media team, this is a key role in helping us produce some of the best plant, gardening and horticultural content in the world. This post oversees the production of a range of specialist, high-quality print publications - including books, flower show guides and quarterly periodicals.

The successful applicant will have a passion for detail; strong organisational and deadline experience; and for wanting to work with colleagues from across our growing charity. Experience in getting different publications to the printers on time and to budget, with the required high-level editorial quality, will be essential. Having an open-minded approach to work, able to work to differing deadlines, and for being able to deal with stakeholders to make the very best product, are key traits we need.

We publish a substantial amount of authoritative and valuable work, with team members editing magazines, publishing content on rhs.org.uk, podcasts, commercial books and Society publishing. This role is a key part of our work, and crucial in publishing creative content to our members and wider audiences. Strong grammatical accuracy, a high-level use of InDesign and a genuine desire to want to help are essential traits for the successful candidate.
