The Contagious editorial team is looking for a new staff writer to work in our London office

The Contagious editorial team is looking for a new staff writer to work in our London office. And even if you've never written professionally, you could still be our ideal candidate. Here's why.

Do we need someone who can crank out copy to a deadline? Absolutely.

But we also need the kind of person who can deconstruct creativity by looking at a campaign and analysing why it’s smart.

We need the type of person who can interview a marketer, understand the thinking behind their strategy and then communicate it clearly.

But most of all, we need someone with enthusiasm, curiosity and intelligence. That's because you'll be questioning, analysing and predicting what's changing in the world of marketing as much as covering it. And you won't just be writing. With our training and support, you could be on stage at our events and delivering briefings to our clients – some of the world's biggest brands.

This is a mid- to senior-level role in our team and would suit anyone from copywriting, planning, strategy, research or journalism backgrounds. Or maybe your background.

About us:

Contagious is a creative and strategic intelligence service that helps ad agencies and brands deliver more creative, innovative and effective marketing. In addition to the Contagious Intelligence tool – an online inspiration resource, filled with best-in-class commercial creativity from around the world – we also publish a quarterly Contagious print magazine, which provides a curated review of the most important developments driving marketing, technology and business creativity.

To apply, please send your CV along with a covering letter to jobs@contagious.com.

Deadline for applications is 11.45pm GMT on Monday 15th April.
