Job title: Staff writer

Location: London (can be also be a remote position with occasional visits to our head office)

We're looking for an experienced science writer to join our busy and diverse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in journalism.

You'll need to be comfortable covering a wide range of scientific topics. You'll also need to be comfortable with taking complex journal articles and distilling that information into short, engaging articles.

We are accepting remote applicants for this position, although you should be willing to work on London time and able to commute to London for interviews and meetings.


  • Journalism experience; can be a postgrad degree or practical.
  • A science degree.
  • A creative, engaging and entertaining writing style.
  • Passionate about science communication. It’s what we do.
