Compelo is seeking a sub-editor to join its editorial team, helping to produce the group’s market-leading magazines. The sub-editors work with editors, designers, sales executives and clients to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and quality across all content output.
Other occasional responsibilities include working on special supplements, third-party publishing deals and marketing material.
The Compelo magazines and their accompanying websites are essential sources of information for senior executives and decision-makers in global industries including energy, transport, hospitality, architecture, finance and healthcare.
The ideal candidate will have experience of taking content from raw copy to press, sub-editing in Word while maintaining a house style, creating striking headlines and standfirsts, and making page changes in InDesign, while working closely with the design team on things such as page layout and imagery.
Experience in inDesign, such as sub-editing news, features and other content for B2Bs would also be desirable.
