As RE:TV moves into its second year producing films which highlight the innovations and ideas that point the way towards a sustainable future, we are looking for an experienced web and social media editor to join our team. Ideally London-based but this is not essential.

The role's main responsibilities will be to manage the content we publish on our website and social platforms, and to develop cross-promotional relationships with organisations and campaigners to bring our content to a wider audience.

Editorial and content operations

  • Schedule, publish and curate content for all RE:TV platforms
  • Create titles, descriptions, and metadata to accompany films and videos
  • Ensure all copy and imagery is consistent with RE:TV brand guidelines
  • Brief designers to create accompanying graphics and stills for social platforms
  • Work closely with RE:TV production team to plan and amend programming schedule
  • Identify and publish suitable third-party content for the RE:TV platform

Community management

  • Respond to posts and comments on social platforms
  • Provide RE:TV content for the Sustainable Markets Initiative's social channels
  • Co-ordinate promotion of content with companies featured in RE:TV case studies,
  • Review and recommend content to be shared from and with a network of partner organisations and campaigners


  • Tracking performance against agreed KPIs across website and social platforms 
  • Producing regular reports, identifying trends, insights and recommendations

Skills and experience

  • Good knowledge of sustainability and environmental issues
  • Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills. Impeccable grammar and spelling
  • Familiarity and flexibility working with different types of CMS and publishing platforms
  • Experience working with image editing software would be a bonus
  • Sound knowledge of social and web publishing best-practice
  • Understanding of copyright and privacy regulations
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • At least three years working as a web or social media editor or similar
