Are you a skilled communicator? Do you have the gift of turning information into stories?

Do you dislike bad grammar almost as much as you are tired of clichés about the world’s poor? And do you have a passion for using your skill with words to inspire Christians to care about the unheard stories and hidden injustices beyond our borders?

You may just have found your next job.

BMS World Mission is looking for an excellent writer with a passion for mission to join our Creative Content team. Our new Writer will assist in producing and editing content for our portfolio of high-quality magazines, videos, web stories and appeals in order to drive giving, prayer and recruitment for a mission agency that has been transforming lives for the last 225 years.

Reporting to the senior editor and working with a team of writers and designers, you will have the opportunity to add multimedia skills to your already impressive writing talents and will regularly meet with inspiring workers from (and occasionally on) the front lines of contemporary world mission.

You will be part of a friendly, talented team that will help and encourage you to translate your love of Jesus and passion for excellence into brilliant and inspiring web, video, print and direct communications. You will be surrounded by strong but kind personalities and impressive creativity and will find support and challenge to improve and grow every day.

You will work hard, and you will produce the best work of your life to date, and it will be for the best of all causes: sharing the fullness of life only Christ provides, and alleviating suffering and injustice in his name.

If this sounds like you, apply today to come and work with us.
