The British Society of Magazine Editors is teaming up with author and journalist Caitlin Moran to launch the Young Writers’ Prize. They're on the hunt for the UK's next rising star and are determined to remove any barriers in their way.

Winners receive a £12k cash prize, a year's mentorship from Caitlin Moran herself, work experience from top UK editors, and publication in a zine that reaches more than 200 industry leaders. Applicants need to be 18-25 and the deadline closes on 8 May 2026.

Get your application in now, or send it to a colleague who would benefit from this fantastic opportunity.
