For newsrooms facing the shift to multimedia integration IFRA is holding a workshop in association with Journalism.co.uk to help organisations tackle the transition.
'Reorganising newsrooms for multimedia', a one-day workshop in London, will use case studies from around the world to explore management issues raised by the move from a print-centric operation to online growth.
The course will help newsroom managers and executives build a 'roadmap' for change and develop a strategy for dealing with issues relating to both content production and staff.
The event on September 11 is available at a special 'early bird rate' before July 31 to IFRA members for £300 +VAT and to non-members for £350 +VAT.
After July 31 fees will rise to £350 +VAT for members and £400 +VAT for non-members.
