Manchester Matters will today publish a new magazine for the city following the closure of the Crains' Manchester Business weekly last month.

The publication, which is available online and in print on-demand will reportedly incorporate PR travel news agency

. It has also recently signed a deal with Chesire-based Green-Car-Guide to offer users access to their motoring section

The new website is also working in partnership with Myebook, a publishing platform which will allow users to have an improved reading experience with on-screen pages to turn and embedded audio and video.

Alan Salter, editor of TransportMatters, said the site plans more partnerships to further its collaborative efforts.

"I firmly believe that today's media not only has to be convergent but also collaborative and there will be further arrangements with other partners in due course," he said in a release.
