Journalism.co.uk is hosting the 15th news:rewired digital journalism conference today, at the MSN UK offices in Victoria, London.

The event will highlight the latest trends in the industry, such as mobile news, chat apps, longform video and international investigations.

On the day, delegates will be able to immerse themselves in panel discussions and take away practical recommendations from experts during the workshops, from news organisations like The Washington Post, BuzzFeed News, Vice News, Mashable, CNN and more.

Here's how you can follow the conversation online today:
  • on Twitter using #newsrw
  • on the news:rewired website, where our team of bloggers and live-bloggers will be covering the sessions as they happen, sharing key tips, tools and techniques from our expert line-up of speakers
  • and don't forget to check back on Facebook and YouTube over the next few days too, for video coverage of today's keynote speech, interviews with speakers and highlights from the event

The conference kicks off at 9.20am, with a keynote speech from Christopher Meighan, director for digital news and presentation, emerging news products, at The Washington Post.

He will give attendees an overview of how the news outlet is innovating across multiple formats and devices, followed by a panel discussion on mobile audiences and what they expect from news on these devices.
