IPC Ignite will be the first UK magazine publisher to have its web traffic audited for a six month period by the Audit Bureau of Circulations Electronic (ABCe).

The publisher will produce daily and monthly unique user figures for the January to June 2009 period for Nuts.co.uk, NME.com and Loaded.com, according to a release from the bureau.

The stats will be released on Thursday as part of the report on the titles' audited print figures.

ABCe figures for June 2008 suggested a 121 per cent year-on-year increase in unique users for Nuts.co.uk and a 107 per cent year-on-year rise for NME.com. Unique users of Loaded.co.uk were also reported to have increased by 51 per cent when compared with figures from June 2007.

This week's report will also include unique user figures for IPC's gaming website Mousebreaker.com.

"Transparency, accountability and innovation are core elements in our trading philosophy, which is why we are committed to providing our advertisers and media buyers with trustworthy cross platform audited data," said Eric Fuller, IPC Ignite managing director, in the release.

Last February six regional newspaper publishers released their first multiplatform ABCe reports.

In October last year the bureau extended the offer of twice yearly online audits to all media owners.
