ITN's multimedia division ITN On has overseen the launch of ITN News and ITN Music News and will produce video packages for the channels, which join ITN's showbiz offering on YouTube launched in October last year .

The news service will feature 90 second video clips of headline news stories, while the music channel - the company's first music service - will include videos of music news, awards and festivals.

For the music channel ITN will also supply content from ITN Source, its video archive service, starting with packages for this summer's music festivals.

"With such an appetite for professional video content on YouTube we're excited to expand the breadth of our content with these two new services and delighted that YouTube see the value of such content on their platform," said Nicholas Wheeler, managing director of ITN On.
