27 - 29 May: 75th World News Media Conference | Copenhagen, Denmark

2024 looks set to be a(nother) defining year for the media business and with many big elections ahead, the currency of trustworthy journalism takes centre stage. Also commanding urgent attention are some very big questions: how to keep up with rapidly evolving AI technologies and how to win back the attention of diverse and polarised audiences. Join WAN-IFRA in Copenhagen to discuss these topics and celebrate the 75th annual global gathering of news media executives.

30 May - 2 June: Dataharvest | Mechelen, Belgium

Dataharvest – The European Investigative Journalism Conference is a meeting point where networks are established and nurtured, data and documents shared, cross-border projects conceived and teams established. The conference days are all about learning, inspiration and getting some work done.


4 - 6 June: FIPP World Media Congress | Pestana Cidadela, Portugal

The FIPP World Media Congress is the flagship annual conference for worldwide media and its counterparts in adjacent advisory and tech sectors. Organised and hosted by Media Makers Meet - Mx3, FIPP Congress gathers top speakers, media decision-makers, tech partners and other service providers from 40+ countries every year.

17 - 18 June: DW Global Media Forum | Bonn, Germany

DW’s international, interactive and interdisciplinary conference has been enabling media professionals and decision-makers from politics, civil society, culture, education, business and science to discuss and learn from each other since 2008.


9 - 13 September: Global Street Paper Summit | Liverpool, UK

The summit is the flagship event for all street paper staff, owners and supporters. The programme will include topics like news and journalistic practice; equality and diversity; fundraising; insights and innovations; communications and marketing; future plans and strategic direction; and the development of regional networks.

The Online News Association 2024 annual conference.

23 - 27 September: INMA Media Innovation Week | Helsinki, Finland

INMA Media Innovation Week in Helsinki consists of two parts: a conference where you can absorb unscripted, interactive presentations and discussions on the hottest media subjects in Europe today; and a study tour.


11 October: 2024 News Product Alliance Summit | Online

This year’s Summit theme Tech & Trust will bring us together to focus on how News Product Leaders are solving journalism's toughest challenges with audience, tech, and business expertise.
