Northcliffe Media has created a new post to head up digital operations across its local websites.
As director of digital publishing Mike Rowley will take charge of Northcliffe's network of over 40 'This Is' sites .
Rowley, who previously worked on Associated Northcliffe Digital's (AND) newspaper companion sites, will start his new role immediately, focusing on the company's growing digital regional news operations and rising site traffic.
"Looking forward our focus will be to continue to provide relevant local content as well as building on communities of readers through an interactive online audience," said Michael Pelosi, managing director of Northcliffe Media.
AND will continue to manage the advertising and commercial aspects of the websites.
