The Telegraph and the Guardian are now £1.20 on a weekday, while the Times and Independent remain £1

The rise, which takes effect this weekend, follows the same move by the Guardian in September and makes the two titles the most expensive quality national dailies, with the exception of the FT.
The Times and the Independent are £1 during the week and £1.50 and £1.60 respectively on Saturdays, while the Saturday Guardian is £2.20.
The FT raised its cover charge last month to £2.20, making it £1 more than the next-most expensive daily.
The most recent ABC figures show print sales of the Telegraph fell 7.9 per cent year-on-year, from 659,445 in September 2010 to 607,186 in September 2011.
