The South China Morning Post is to partner with internet video platform Brightcove to enhance its multimedia content.
The deal, which is Brightcove’s first with an Asian newspaper, will improve the quality of video on the site and will allow users to embed this content.
RSS feeds and an option to share content by email will also be added to the Post site.
"Working with Brightcove lets SCMP focus on what we do best - create content and sell ads. Brightcove's video technology is plug-and-play," David Savelson, assistant director of scmp.com.
