Trinity Mirror has bought online property site publisher Globespan Media for £0.9 million.
Globespan publishes Homesoverseas.co.uk and Showhouse.co.uk (with respective magazine counterparts) together with What House online and the What House Awards.
Globespan was acquired for an initial £0.9 million, which could rise to £5 million dependent on it meeting specific targets.
Trinity, which expects Globespan to generate revenues of at least £4 million in its first year of ownership, will integrate the business in its Smart Media Services online property business.
"Globespan is a great addition to our online presence. The Homes Overseas and What House brands perfectly complement our existing portfolio of successful online property businesses that include smartnewhomes.com and email4property.co.uk," Sly Bailey, chief executive of Trinity Mirror, said in a press statement .
