The team behind the app used reader behaviour data to determine the optimal times to push new editions, as well as employing shorter versions of headlines to make content more easily scannable. Read more

Digital strategy: To try and make the most of an untapped market for news content, the Washington Post has launched a new app for TV streaming devices.

The 'News Reader' app, available for Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV, allows users to swipe through a range of articles on a big screen without being blocked by a paywall. Read more
