NYTimes.com has relaunched its travel site to carry reviews and travel suggestions from readers alongside professional recommendations.

Along with the reviews, the new site features more than 1,000 global destination guides, itineraries, guidebook and information from Frommer's , improved navigation and search and an online booking engine.

The site also carries a free archive of all Times travel articles published since 1981.

In the coming months, the Times plans to augment the latest changes with a raft of Web 2.0 features such as dynamic maps and tools aimed at engaging a community of readers for the sub-site.
