PA Group launches media management qualification

PA Group has launched an industry first qualification in media management for staff who have completed the company's internal training programme.

Six managers have been awarded a NCFE -accredited certificate in media management after undergoing an extensive assessment process.

The certificate is designed to give PA staff the opportunity to extend their skills in managing people and operations in the media business.

It is awarded to managers who have demonstrable competence in assessing current management skills, communication, managing resources and operations and managing people.

Rebecca Buck, head of HR, said: "This development provides our team leaders and managers with the practical tools and techniques to enhance their effectiveness with their teams which ultimately has a positive impact on the bottom line."
