With the 2022 World Cup in Qatar just 15 months away, there could be glory this time around for one lucky tutor.
A VIP Qatari family based in Virginia Water in Surrey is desperately looking for a tutor who can teach its kids football - so much so that it is prepared to offer an eye-watering £90,000 a year for the right candidate.
The role even includes travel to the prestigious tournament in Qatar next year - provided the candidate has the necessary vaccinations.
The original job post, listed on VIP governor, nanny and tutor job site Jobs in Childcare, suggests that the family is looking for a tutor who can provide 'educational support, English tuition and sports coaching' to a pair of 4-year-old twin boys.
The job description is quite specific. Due to the family's interest in sport, the parents are looking for a tutor who can play football with the boys, alongside traditional schooling support.
The ability to play a musical instrument and/or knowledge of French is a bonus, as well as having native-level English, making this quite the shopping list.
The tutor is set to receive a mind-blowing salary of up to £90,000 for working a two-week on, two-week off schedule. It is just under a week's wage for Mason Mount, at £88,000 per week, but it is certainly not to be sniffed at.
However, you had better be quick if you want to apply; interviews are taking place ASAP.
James Alger, director of Jobs in Childcare, noted that football is particularly popular following England's sterling performance in the European Championships this year.
"It’s definitely fair to say that more and more families want their kids actively involved in sports, and with the Olympics and football tournaments ongoing, it's hardly surprising. Demand for sporty nannies and tutors is on the rise."
