Lewis Ellis is to star in a startup company’s amusing video opposite fellow Apprentice candidate and ex-Man City starlet Kenna Ngoma, filmed on location in Manchester.

The tongue-in-cheek video for new eCommerce platform Shopit sees Lewis and Kenna go head to head trialling competitor software, before Lewis smashes up an office and Kenna gets a hilarious makeover surrounded by pink flamingos.

The two Greater Manchester candidates met and starred opposite each other in The Apprentice before Kenna was harshly fired by Alan Sugar for ultimately making a phallic ice lolly and losing a key task. Meanwhile Lewis battled on to make it into the final five to see his own business plans scrutinised by Claude Littner. Both candidates went ‘back to the floor’ to help out their friends in up-and-coming eCommerce business Shopit.

Shopit is a next generation eCommerce platform and Google Cloud partner, and was recently backed by several investors across the globe, as they aim to unseat big players like Shopify and BigCommerce.  The video highlights a number of features where Shopit wins against the big boys, especially in supporting growing companies with their unlimited features, multiple website creation and Pay as you Grow model.

Both Kenna and Lewis will return to the show for the Final, to be aired on Wednesday 18th December on BBC One, when the video will launch on YouTube, Twitter and other networks.
