CiiTECH is proud to sponsor Medical Cannabis: prescribing, practicalities and the patient experience event by MCCS on November 13. Clifton Flack, CEO and Founder of CiiTECH is excited to give a speech at the event and continue discussions on the topic including ongoing support for the MCCS.
This event is the first to bring together leading British clinicians and stakeholders to further advance the cause. Our support starting at this event and developing into a number of potential collaborative research project is important for both the industry and crucial for the many patients in waiting. At CiiTECH we have invested in a number of cannabis R&D projects in Israel and we are now looking to instigate studies in the UK with local partners and consumers.
“We expect this event and the work of the MCCS in general is providing an important and authoritative voice to the growing conversation surrounding medical cannabis.”
Clifton Flack CEO and founder of CiiTECH has taken a very active role in advocating for cannabis as well as building strong partnerships with leading institutions and organizations to bring forth much needed knowledge and understanding to a kind of wild west industry. It is no surprise that different rules and laws govern CBD and THC products across the globe thus resulting in an even bigger lack of knowledge, research and even adequate marketing tactics.

In the UK doctors including those of the Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society were hopeful to see a prosperous future on medical cannabis treatment but to date the NHS has openly admitted that only 12 or so patients have access to that medical cannabis. While CBD products can be found in all forms from oils and tinctures to cosmetic products just by walking down the high street. This is why CiiTECH finds it crucial to support the Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society in its works to guide doctors with up-to-date care of patients using cannabis products.
CiiTECH Ltd. is a cannabis biotech company that focuses on discovering, developing and commercializing cannabinoid products for the global market. They do this by partnering and collaborating with leading institutions and companies to realize the full potential of cutting-edge cannabis innovation and bring it successfully to market. CiiTECH is honoured to be supporting the Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society, helping them realise their vision to support clinicians and build a framework for patient care with medical cannabis. The work of the MCCS and chairman, Professor Mike Barnes is closely aligned with our own mission to uncover the benefits of cannabis and creating a platform for consumers to access the cannabinoids they need.“ says CiiTECH CEO and founder Clifton Flack.
The Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society “is open to any clinician with an interest in cannabis as a medicine. The Society provides clinicians with independent, high-quality, balanced education and expert support as they become prescribers. The committee also works to inform clinicians about the current state of evidence with regard to the efficacy of cannabis and its side effects. The Society provides a forum for discussion in order to support clinicians new to this field.”
