Communication specialist Jose Ucar has been training leaders at SEAT and CUPRA in public speaking to improve impact, making their messages memorable and inspirational. Jose, now in London, travels the world supporting brands to communicate with impact
International communication and influence expert, Jose Ucar, has supported the team at SEAT and CUPRA in Barcelona, delivering a specialised coaching session aimed at enhancing the public speaking skills of their leadership team.
Sessions took place in August and early September and marks another successful engagement between Jose and SEAT and CUPRA – Jose has worked with them previously.
“I worked with the team on ‘what’ they are going to say, we reviewed their individual speeches to make them more impactful and memorable,” Jose explained.
“I worked on the ‘how’, coaching them individually to access new behaviours that will show through their body language on stage.
“Then on the “where” which has to do with stage positioning (moving and anchoring key areas on the stage).
“Our initial work took place in Barcelona and from there I followed them to the venue where their new World Premiere will be held. Here we worked on the stage and I joined them for rehearsals where I also spoke to them myself to explore new ways of delivering their message.”
This session represented the fourth time Jose has been invited to Barcelona to support SEAT and CUPRA's team in preparing for public speaking engagements, particularly during the launch of new vehicles.
Jose’s partnership with the prestigious began in 2022 when Cecilia Taieb, global director of communications at SEAT and CUPRA, identified the need for their speakers to project greater impact and authenticity on stage.
Cecilia said: “Each executive coached by Jose has made significant strides in their speech deliveries. I truly appreciate how Jose customised his coaching while keeping them authentic throughout the process.”
Since then, his coaching has become an integral part of SEAT and CUPRA's launch strategy, enabling their executives to deliver speeches that resonate with diverse audiences.
His unique perspective on public speaking is informed by his own international journey, which began in Sweden at the age of 16, and has since made him an influencer in global communication and leadership.
He said: “It was an incredible experience to return to Barcelona and work with this exceptional leadership team once more. My goal is always to empower these leaders to present with confidence, authenticity, and impact, ensuring that their messages are not only heard but also felt by their audiences.”
Jose’s influence extends beyond coaching sessions; he is also a TEDx speaker, author of Global Influence, and a regular contributor to notable publications such as Yahoo Finance, Disrupt Magazine, and LA Weekly. His work is built on three pillars: building trust, adaptive communication, and global leadership, making him a vital asset for any organisation aiming to communicate internationally with confidence.
Jose, who is based in London can support any team and leader in improving communication and leadership skills, with a specialism in helping businesses which work across multiple countries and cultures.
